The hotel has always had a reputation as a good eatery with a love of Danish cooking. 
 


Our restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. If you are planning a function we are also happy to help set the scene for a memorable day or evening. 
The restaurant offers several exciting function rooms, for small or large meetings as well as social functions.

At hotel Ærø we welcome all walks of life and our attitude to life is: "You haven't lived until you've felt life here in Svendborg. We love living here, but there's room for you too".   

In recent years we have expanded our room capacity so that we now have a total of 48 double rooms, 2 suites with jacuzzi, as well as 3 fantastic suites with a view of Svendborg Harbour. These include the tower room in which Elvira Madigan and Sixten Sparre spent their last night in 1889. Furthermore the hotel offers 8 self-catering apartments 5 minutes walk from Svendborg city centre.
